The older I get the more excited I get about the prospect of SNOW.
I welcome the days of being 'home-bound' tucked inside, cozy & warm crafting, sewing, baking, painting away with breaks to splurge and enjoy a movie.
It's been raining for days and today with an approaching cold front bringing the possibility of SNOW.
Will this winter weather event bring SNOW or ICE?
Only time will tell, hopefully SNOW.So until the event unfolds, enjoy these images from winters past.

ReplyDeleteHi! I am visiting from Stitchin By The Lake blog and wanted to congratulate you on your blog. I just started blogging in May of 2012. I don't blog daily as I should, but when I can. I am a new follower of you and would love for you to check out my blog at http://teresasquiltjourney.blogspot.com. BTW, it has been snowing, but not sticking at my house in Alabama.
ReplyDeleteWeather Update: We had loads of wind, rain, thunder, some sleet, some snow, last night. Our power was out for over 5 hours THANKFULLY the power crews were able to restore the power so soon!!! Really odd that we lost power, the first time in a winter weather event we've lost power where we live now. The news is reporting this morning that many of the roads have been officially closed due to heavy icing and black ice. Again THANKFULLY the SUN is out this morning and there is not a cloud in sight! Which, should help with drying and freeing the roads of the black ice.
ReplyDeleteThat photo of the ice on the seed pod is beautiful!! THank you for sharing it!
