Easter is Coming

I've heard on great authority that Easter is coming!

Over the weekend I was out and about running errands when I overheard a preschooler singing at the top of her lungs, "Easter is Coming! Easter is Coming! Yes it Is! Yes it Is! Easter is Coming..."Music to my ears to hear a child singing with such joy!


Her song was great encouragement. When I returned home after putting away the groceries I popped in a movie and completed my Easter Table Runner.

The table runner measures 13 X 75 inches and is created with fabrics from my stash...144 appliqued eggs, binding and backing! I even had enough to eggs left over to create some Easter Egg Mug Rugs too!
I have always loved celebrating Easter, decorating with brightly colored eggs...this  to me defines Spring.

Cherish the last lingering days of winter...for before we know it Spring will be here in all of it's shining glory.
